Freeform Education
Every parent wants the best for their child. The heart of the Freeform Education philosophy is to focus on giving each and every child we work with the best educational experience out there.
Freeform Education is unique in that it is simultaneously the MOST FLEXIBLE and the MOST FOCUSED educational system out there. ANYWHERE.
Everything we do is 100% custom made for each child we work with because each child we work with is 100% unique.

We take a cutting edge approach to education that uses the student's interests to tap into their intrinsic motivation. That's right, our students ACTUALLY WANT to do the work (yes, don't laugh, even yours) because everything they do is built for their interests and goals. We also assess EXACTLY where each student is in every subject, regardless of grade, and tailor suit every lesson to be on the level that they need it to be. If they are ahead in reading and struggle with math, for example, their custom curriculum will start right where they are and will address every struggle at its root. This ensures that any problems they are having are truly corrected and that no student ever feels "dragged along" or learns to simply put in the minimal effort to get by (as so often happens to students in the traditional school system).
For more information on what we believe in and a few techniques and approaches we employ, watch the following 3 TED Talks below.
This YouTube episode of TED Talk on hack-schooling is a good representation of what it means to be Freeform Educated. It informs the audience that a student tailored curriculum is not only possible, but is available to everyday people. Freeform Education, however, actually takes this “what works for you” approach one step further by wrapping all subjects together around the students’ interests so that they are in charge of the topics all curriculum is built around.
Sir Ken Robinson's talk Do Schools Kill Creativity? eloquently demonstrates that the modern public school is flawed in that its focus is to create adults who are not willing to take risks and follow their creative passions. Freeform Education encourages children to follow their creative desires to a more fulfilling life and breaks down each step they will need to take to be successful in the long run.
Freeform Education applies progressive and even radical new approaches to make the most of technological advances, such as one-on-one Google Docs writing classes and the "flipped classroom" approach John Evans discusses in his TED Talk. This allows more efficiency and less stress for the students, the teachers, and the parents!
